I am in the graphic design field and a recent graduate from Marymount University (MU) in Arlington, Va. While at my time in college and my internship with AFSCME, I've had experience in creating and developing designs in a multitude of forms... print, digital and video to name a few. While enrolled at MU, I obtained my minor in business/marketing in order to have a better understanding of how companies and organizations find value from graphic design within their programs. Learning the value that graphic design can bring to any company, small or large, has enabled me to have a more complete view of the role it plays whether it be a new marketing plan or an email campaign.

 

Aside from graphic design and business, I've always had a passion for travel both national and international. During my time at Marymount, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to study abroad twice in Italy. Travel has always been an inspiration to my graphic design work. Seeing the works of others along with their cultures and artwork has helped to broaden my outlook and not confine me to one way thinking when it comes to develop designs and ideas.
